Steam overlay workaround/fix
  1. Create a shortcut to hl2.exe
    (...\steamapps\common\Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer\hl2.exe for ZMR in this case).
  2. Add the following to the Target field in the shortcut's properties, changing the steam path to match yours:
    -game "<your steam path>\steamapps\sourcemods\zombie_master_reborn" -steam
  3. Launch the mod through this shortcut and you should have a working steam overlay :D:
Same applies to other Source SDK Base 2013 and 2006 mods (replacing the paths to their respective folders and SDK Base versions).
