Beginners Guide for Mappers

Instructions:
1) You have two choices:
a) 2D Editor by @Megalon https://github.com/megalon/BeatSaber-UnofficialTrackEditor/releases
b) 3D Editor by @ikeiwa https://github.com/Ikeiwa/3D-beatsaber-song-editor/releases

2) Run the exes for either editor

3) For the 2D editor, just load your audio, then enter the BPM. You will have to enter your song details yourself inside info.json, which I will go over later

4) For the 3D editor, you can simply enter all your song details inside the program, and begin work on your map! Hotkeys are in the three-bar-menu in the top right.

5) 2D Editor:
a) Create a folder with your songs name (such as New Dawn)
b) Drag and drop your track into the folder (the expert.json, for example)
c) Drop your audio into the folder (*.ogg or *.wav)
d) Create a new file called "info.json"
e) Inside the file, copy paste and fill out the areas in CAPS:

Welcome to the ModSaber! These are the instructions to get custom tracks working within Beat Saber! There is an important distinction to make first: there are two types of custom tracks - 1. Stepmania conversions: these don't have any directions and 2. Handmade conversions: these are made by hand, but may be mistimed.

Instructions:
1) Go to https://github.com/xyonico/BeatSaberSongInjector/releases and download the latest version, "SongLoaderPlugin.With.IPA.zip"

2) Extract the contents of the song injector into your Beat Saber folder, where the executable is.

3) Drag Beat Saber.exe onto IPA.exe, which will correctly patch the game.

4) You will notice that a new shortcut has been created called Beat Saber (Patch & Launch), as well as new folders, most notably CustomSongs.

5) Drag new song folders into CustomSongs like so: http://puu.sh/AisyC/9ab5fed995.png

6) Launch Beat Saber as normal (either through the normal exe, or through Steam/Oculus)

You're done! Once you have loaded into Beat Saber, scroll down and you'll see your new maps! The song injector comes with a default map (New Dawn) for you to test! New maps can be found at beatsaver.com, or on #finished-songs in the Discord!
