Crown, Sword and Coin - Which truly holds the power?

Welcome to a new scenario of diplomacy, intrigue, trade and age of empires!


King rules: (p1 & p2):
* Buy an army: Merchants will bring their armies to the flagged area near their markets on your island. You can purchase an army inside a flagged area for 1,000 gold by bringing your king inside, each purchase also increases your prestige by +1. Price rises to 2k Gold after you reach 20 prestige.

* Collect taxes: Towns across the map will spawn goods every 8 minutes, you can claim these goods by bringing 15 military units to the paved area near the town's krepost. You and the owner of that town will split the taxed goods between you (usually 1000gold & 1000 o.resource). This is your main source of income as king!

* Accept Fealty: If you have over 10 prestige, a merchant may present himself in the flagged area at your cathedral to swear fealty to your faction. Accept by bringing your king/prince & pay 3500 gold. That merchant can now only sell his goods to you, and becomes enemy to the other king's faction. A king may have only 1 sworn merchant.

* Victory: You win the game if you kill the other King, or by reaching 36 prestige points first. Prestige can be gained by buying armies from merchants or by sending your king/prince to the shrine at the center of the map.

Merchant Rules (p3, p4 & p5):

Buy property: If you bring your merchant to a flagged area of a building, you will own it. Read the name of the building to know its cost and what type of benefit it has.

Sell an army: Place your army in the flagged area with your merchant near your market on a king's island. If the king visits that area, your army will be bought for the cost of 1,000 gold. You can do it any amount of times. This is your main way to gain income!

Victory: You win as a merchant and the game ends if you accumulate 30,000 gold. Or if you buy 3 monuments.

Swear Fealty: If you place your merchant under a cathedral of a king and that king comes near you, you both pay 2,500 gold and become allies.
You will no longer be able to trade with the other king, and be considered his enemy.
Victory condition changes: you can only win if your king wins.
You can only swear fealty if:
* King has over 10 Prestige
* You have no military at the other king's base
* Traded twice with that king

Become a Pirate: The first merchant to sail south may become a pirate. As a pirate you become enemy to everyone. However, you gain "Spies" Technology, and reinforcements of Berserkers.
You can loot towns each time they spawn goods with berserkers.
If you bring your Berserkers to the ruins of a king's cathedral, you will loot it and gain all the gold that king currently has in his storage.
Victory condition changes: You can only win if you plunder both kings cathedrals.

Banned exploits:
* using "attack ground" against allies
* block allied players with your units
