Once they were one, now they are many.

The World of Abberanth was formed by a coalition of the Gods, known to themselves as the Ancient Ones. At this time they called themselves the “Kingdom of the Ancient Ones” or “Kingdom of the Gods” as they worked to form this newfound planet. At the head of this Kingdom was the self proclaimed “King of Kings” or “Emperor of the Gods” Nurnas, the God of Space, Time, and Gravity. The Gods existed before Nurnas took power, existing for a couple hundred years before then, all were aware Nurnas was born before them and many knew that opposing him was a fight they would not win. Nurnas led the gods through the creation of their own planet, creating the planet of Abbernanth. The Gods existed under Nurnas for a couple thousand years, forming the world as it would be. Although, before they managed to create life on the planet Nurnas disappeared, simply vanishing from existence. Of course, the Gods all had their own agendas and their own plans for the future of the planet they had created, and without Nurnas as the unifying factor, now these gods can take their own plans of action. Nurnas has now been gone for 500 years, allowing these gods to safely believe he is gone for good, or extended enough time for them to try and seize their own powerbases. Where the gods even came from is unknown to them; were they created by Nurnas to serve in his planets creation? Were they created by some other worldly power? While the Gods have formed relationships now, they are all aware that they have not been born to any parents. The world is theirs for the taking and now only time will tell what these gods will do. Will the Gods work together? Will the Gods form factions and fight against each other for dominance? Or perhaps no one will be safe in the ensuing warfare of the Gods?
