I'm sorry but you are wrong. If something is promised then it should be followed through with. While it is not legally binding, it is morally and ethically so in many people's eyes. The bottom line is, if you promised people keys in exchange for the votes (help attempting to get greenlit), and then don't follow through on that promise, then that is just not right because you basically were taking advantage of people and should get rightfully criticized for that. Mind you it's not like the votes can be taken back.
I'm not saying that is what necessarily happened, and it's entirely possible some people could be lying about their vote or 'full of it' (as I did get a key for this myself), but I'm just trying to offer a generalized viewpoint on the matter of these things.
