The "Cold War" takes a big turn!

In an Alternative Universe, the Soviet Union collapsed after the Death of Stalin. Fortunately for the Communist powers, the German State known as the People's Rep. of Schmalscheid whom is a radical ideology not entirely comparable with the German Democratic Republic which it took root from, took over control of the Warsaw Pact. Keeping the states in an alliance with it's partner. The new People's Republic of Atomaska, a new Yugoslav confederation styled in the ideology of Schmalscheid. In the Baltic an extremist state known as the Confederacy of Riga-Lithuania leads the continuation of the dead ideologies of the Second World War. In the West, NATO promotes itself as the alliance of Democratic states despite having ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in Spain and a Dictatorship in France.
