@willscherrer Its good to hear from you again. I am super excited about this. I am happy with the side quests, new creatures, lure, and the story should be interesting to most. I make what I call burning lists – I don’t actually burn them but it feels good erasing the lines of the to-do list as I find various things to complete or polish. This last list was smaller which is a good sign that I am very close. It took a lot longer than expected because I had already made this and several other chapters but it was not exciting enough so I had to redo it and add a lot more content.

09/30/2017 I am completing one of the last side quests for Chapter 2. It is interesting all of the choices and possibilities that can occur with a simple side quest. 09/23/2017 It was an enjoyable experience getting the lockpick system in place. Lockpicking is a sub-ability of your character so you will get better over time. 09/16/2017  I am back up and running after the power outages from hurricane Irma. This linked picture is one of those moments when I realized that the forests appear as described in the #fantasy novel. This is my character peaking through the edge of the forest towards the Magi chambers. I take a few hours at the beginning of every day to rearrange foilage and interactive items etc before playing the storyline and making tweaks to it. 08/19/2017 I am really happy to see so many engaged in the upcoming eclipse on the 21st. I have decided to make a tribute to this event by making the system perform eclipses based on the movements of the 2 other moons, the planet, and 2 suns. This had been planned for the future as the magic system, in accordance with the unpublished book, relies on the eclipses of all of these bodies to produce mana (called Umbra in the game). This means being on the moon of Uthanus Dreen should render some unique surprises regarding this random phenomenon when mixed with the seasons. Chapter 2 has been taking longer than expected because of the lack of time due to my paying job, but I am still at it.. #fun #gamedev #indiegame #GN #indiedev #fantasy #screenshotsaturday

I am currently exploring newer engines as the inventory system is growing every week with new items from those planned. It is time to head over into the realm of 64bit as a result. Here is a Sunken Treasure chest but notice the plants as well. All of these items will be helpful to you. I feel the storyline flows a lot better at the very beginning and the very end of Chapter1 by taking out the credits and well wishes to new players. 04/15/2017 It’s been awhile since releasing my game as an early access release. A lot has gone on in way of finding out various ways of stabilizing the game on more systems. Today I am adding details to make the numerous secrets more noticeable and have started a new creature. The creature is being used for a much requested video tutorial in Blender coming out soon. 04/01/2017 Gods and Nemesis has been approved for the Steam Store and will be available soon! I am working on a lot of things today. Keep in mind that Gods and Nemesis traditionally has a dark ambience and pictures are difficult to render. In this picture,

All of this may be found in the 4th Chapter of the Storyline portion of the game. Keep in mind that there is a lot to explore even in the small areas that you come across. @willscherrer I have sent you a Steam Key to play my game now because you have been so patient. The game will focus on the storyline for now which has numerous secrets. I am now working on the open player environment so that people can join after this portion and skip to the building and survival part which I am even more excited about lately because it allows me to explore as well – I hope to see you there. I just want to make sure you got the Steam Key so you can play at least the first portion of Chapter 1.

03//25/2017 I have made a character named Chadwee, of course, (race of Kayth and class of Slayer) looking out across the land from the crow's nest of the Stone Airship. The rings of the floating stronghold obscure the setting sun. There are a lot of unforeseeable delays but I feel that we are getting very close to launch !

03/05/2017 It’s been a while since I posted here – it’s been a little crazy. Just letting you know I am in the process of white-listing my game for MacAfee and Baidu AV software so that it does not create false positives (This is a common developer headache). I would prefer not having to convince people with these AV packages that my game is not a virus, lol. It’s a small setback but I am using the time to add more game details. Also, I had the opportunity to play #ZeldaBreathoftheWild with DasGeek. The viewers still remember the Blender video we did and want another one. So I will use this opportunity to create the slime creature for the game based on the old board game version of G&N. 02/11/2017 Demo Update: I have my game up on Steam. I was able to download it from Steam and play it all the way through. 01/20/2017 Full-game Update: It cool to watch the tornado go through this forest bending the trees around it. It is now currently the rainy season. Once in a great while I will see a tornado.
Demo-Update: I am ready to bring the game on to Steam hopefully this week. I have started beautifying the next section of this Demo while the voiceovers are being worked on. 01/14/2017 Full-game Update: I had a lot of fun making a quick stone house (10 minutes) using 3 different types of stone materials that can be mined in the game similar to Minecraft and Creativerse. Demo Update: The Demo is working nicely as I added the ability to do simple interactions when in battle mode without having to switch to Interactive mode. @willscherrer I had to make some revisions to this comment. Thank you for the question. Each section will be approximately 4km x 4km that requires about 1 million polys for the land mass alone. Usually the land mass needs accompanying water which brings it to 6 million polys. So it is about 16 km^2 area for each outside map. The entire outside world of Skyrim is 37.1 km^2 to give some perspective. I have the ability to implement an "Atlas" map that is infinite but I have found that what actually matters is what is in it. Don't get me wrong I like the hiking effect of large maps. When designing a level, you can always build up or down which, within balance, is far superior in my opinion. I am not a great fan of procedural generated maps to the degree of No Man's Sky because it loses authenticity.
