Minecraft PC: should I get it?
My one and only experience with Minecraft comes from xbox 360. I was never that creative but enjoyed it. Since Glu plays it a lot, I might get back into it and try the PC version.

Is it worth getting for someone who has no experience other than vanilla 360 that tells you how to craft items?

Yes it is. There are TONS of mods to add replayability, and with new updates comming out still, it will be fresh for quite a long time. So yes, get the PC version. Also you can use the wiki to look up crafting recipies, and there are a few mods that do that in game for you.

If your looking for recipes the official wiki is at http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Minecraft_Wiki
Just search for the block in the top right corner and you will find the recipe.
