What Kind of RP?

Era of the RP

This RP is based on our own constructed ABK, which is After the Battle of Kamino. This was created so that we may steer clear of the path of the movies and books. The Battle of Kamino was the last battle between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. After this there was a major arms race between all factions in the galaxy. Soon later, a massive war was erupted across the galaxy (known as the Great Ruin) destroying the factions of Revan's Empire, Vader's Coalition, the Pentastar Alignment, the Freedom's Alliance, the Hapes Consortium, and with the only one left standing, the New Republic has moved in and has started rebuilding the galaxy in an image of peace. However, during the Great Ruin, all technological advances and blueprints were destroyed. All ships were lost in the Great Ruin due to the extensive power of the weapons used in the war. The New Republic, however was able to get their hands on some old Imperial Tech, helping in their advancement of peace throughout the galaxy...

Group is Retiring

Thorne & I are hereby retiring this RP group of Star Wars: Galaxy Rising. It made a good run for about two years, which is a surprising amount of time. I am happy to say that I've met some really awesome people in this group and I hope to keep in contact with them for a long while to go from now.

Two things will be coming out of this:

Firstly, I will be typing up a somewhat story of the old factions from the beginning and telling all their stories in a large announcement that will be coming in later this week...

Secondly, we are going to be creating a brand new Star Wars Role Playing group so everyone can have a fresh start. As of right now, it will most likely be Star Wars RP: Galaxy Asunder. If you have any ideas for a name other than Galaxy Asunder send them to me as they come to you.
