Need Help or Advice....
I purchased this game outside of steam, i was on my way back from Vacation about three weeks ago. I purchased the game from an Electronics shop on my way through my grandparents hometown. The guy was pretty nice and the Gear he had in his shop would have suggested to anyone that he was Tech Savvy ( he Had High dollar Graphics cards and Motherboards, RAM chipsets and the works shelved). Well i purchased ESO:TU it comes with the Explorers Pack $59.99. everything seemed good deal and all, I get home. Start the setup process, only to find out the game has been resealed.... the game discs are trashed, and there are no manuals or registration cards save for a little white glossy slip of paper with Registration Code printed on it and then a Key. So i was really miffed and looked up the game, to my surprise i could just activate the game via the ESO site..... NO SUCH LUCK! My trials had not come to an end yet.

I enter the Code and wouldn't you know it, the code wasnt Valid. so i set everything up and i contact ESO customer Service, who advise me to contact the retailer. I had already done it before they even got back to me as it took them a long while for them to get in touch with me.... The gentleman told me that someone sold it to him unopened so he never expected anything, but he had a no return policy on Software.... I blew up, I told the guy that it was ridiculous that this was going how it was and i had been anticipating this game for so long and he ripped me off and the sun was turning purple and ......nevermind that was my face, blood pressure jacked right? think that was the end of it? NEWP..... i got back in touch with ESO and they notify me that the code i entered was not even a code for there game. again i blew a gasket... they advised me to contact my retailer and see what i could do....

A Day passes, and still nothing new from ESO after contacting the retailer... who now wont even speak to me and i am assuming he used his daughter as a Secretary or something because she was freakin clueless... (felt bad for her because she didnt do anything wrong), and she could only tell me that there was nothing that could be done....

I Contact ESO again and tell them that there Customer Service is Jacked, i was really upset because i am a huge fan of the Series and i cant wait to get in-game but i dont have the funds to spend that much on the game twice.... There reply? can you guess?

No Refunds from them for third party retailers, and they wouldnt even offer me some sort of discount? I hate to rant... but what im really looking for here is someone that can offer any help or suggestions in this case. I will only deal through STEAM from here on out. they are good about there business, but at current i have 21.01 in my steam account, and cannot pay for another copy of the game. Does anyone have any suggestions as i have beat my head off of either wall i was told to deal with in regards to this and so far i am 60+ dollars down the whole and still hurting to play like you would not believe!

PLEASE, IF ANYONE CAN HELP IT WOULD MEAN THE WORLD TO ME.

Sounds like your only option is to wait and save money for the game on steam. The good news is that the game is B2P so once you finally get the game you are good to go. Sorry this happened m8.

Its all good i told my brother about it and he was so furious he went out and bought me another copy.. funny enough he doesnt play. He just hates seeing me get ripped off. Good guy, but thanks for caring most days you dont find that with gamers.
