A group (and curator) all about Denuvo Anti-Tamper

Hey everyone, as you probably know, about a month ago I created a review for Kingdom Come Deliverance II stating it will use Denuvo, and added a screenshot from Plaion support as proof.
That screenshot came from one of our members which reached out to Plaion to ask about something else, and the support agent revealed the game will have Denuvo. Since then, that screenshot has been posted everywhere on the internet, and the news ended up everywhere, with the screenshot accumulating over 11k views so far.

Before I created the review, lukaself wanted confirmation from Warhorse so I waited about 2 days, during which they didn't reply, so I went ahead and created the review.
Over the past month the news blew up, and people started cancelling their preorders and some people straight up boycotting the company, with both Warhorse and Plaion straight up ignoring the subject and hoping it will just go away.

Now, in the first dev stream for the game, Sir Tobi (PR Manager for Warhorse), claims Denuvo won't actually be in, and if you can read through the lines, he doesn't say it wasn't supposed to be in, just that they never announced it. He also mentions a misalignment, and it seems Deep Silver pushed Denuvo and they talked about it after the drama started and decided to drop it.
The fact that the game is not coming to GOG is another proof it was going to release with Denuvo, because the first game was entirely DRM free so there is no reason not to have a GOG release. If they announce the game will actually come to GOG on day 1 or soon after release, that would be another proof they removed Denuvo before release so they can release it on GOG too. Also, they still didn't reply to lukaself in one month if the game is using Denuvo or not.

Sir Tobi also has a condescending tone throughout and claims "as long as Warhorse doesn't announce anything it's not true". This is coming from the studio that broke several of their Kickstarter promises for the first game, and several of the things that they did add to it, were added as DLCs. Large scale battles aren't there, the female playable character was added as a DLC, the dog was added as DLC, and there are a few more things either straight up missing or added as DLC.

In conclusion, I will be removing the review for this game and what really matters now is that Denuvo is not there. If it was never going to be there or they decided to remove it matters less. If you were looking forward to the game, go ahead and buy it when you want (preorders are still a bad idea), and enjoy it.
