No, this achievement can't be obtained in the regular way anymore (as far as I know, it was a one-time opportunity). You can do the achievement following the guides.

Hi. There is no discord channel, and as far as I know, we are not going to create one. It is fairly easy to communicate. Please join and stay in the group chat as it helps everyone to find each other. All the information you might need is shown multiple times (so it's really difficult to miss any piece of information). If you could find the Discussions Tab, you can also find the Events tab, where the date and time of the next event is always shown. There is a reference to the next event in the Comments section too.

Please don't create unnecessary threads. Don't post in multiple threads when it's not needed (See the rules in the Pinned thread in the Discussions). Thank you.
