Q: What is this group for?
A: This group is intended to help players obtain difficult achievements in Counter-Strike:Source (such as Clan Warfare, Friendly Attire, Dressed to Kill, Cold War, Gift Grab, etc.) through true gameplay and teamwork.

Q: What is the IP address and password of the server?
A: The IP address is generally shown in the comments section and in the group chat shortly before the next scheduled event starts. The password is csscw.
You can connect by typing the following command in the developer console:

connect <IP>; password csscw

Q: How can I activate and open the developer console?
A: It is recommended to do these steps before the scheduled event starts:

• Steam library -> Counter-Strike:Source -> Right-click -> Properties -> Launch Options -> Type: -console

Q: I need the achievements and I would like to participate in the events but my time zone is different and I can't get there on time.
A: Please try to contact a staff member (e.g. a group moderator) and ask them to schedule a new event which is more appropriate for you. We will be happy to help you.

Q: How can I set my clan tag?
You can only set the clan tag if you have joined the group first. Please try one of the following methods:

• In game: Options ---> Multiplayer ---> Advanced ---> 3rd option: Clan Tag.

Q: Is it possible to get other achievements apart from the Clan Warfare and Friendly Attire?
A: We will happily help with any achievement which you still need but please try to look up some relevant guides as most of the grindy achievements can easily be done with bots on a local server. The following guide has helped several players get achievements in CS:S, so we recommend it to you too. It is really useful. Q: How long do the events last?
A: Every event is different. Most events usually last an hour but this does not mean that you have to stay on the server for the entire duration of the event. If you have less free time, feel free to leave anytime. The only important rule (which we ask you to respect) is to help the other team to obtain the achievements too. Please do not leave immediately after you have got what you needed. Make sure that everyone has obtained the Clan Warfare and Friendly Attire achievements at least.

Q: I have to work or I am otherwise busy. Can I simply join the server and stay afk until I obtain the achievements?
A: Feel free to join the server and stay afk. There is no timeout, so it should work for you.

Q: I have an issue with another player's behavior (such as rude or inappropriate behavior, harassment, or you have spotted a cheater, hacker or otherwise malicious individual). What can I do?
A: Make sure to contact a staff member (e.g. a group moderator) and inform them (in private chat!) about what issue you have experienced (even if you are an outsider and are not directly affected by the incident). We try to keep the group safe for everyone. Achievement cheaters and similar individuals are definitely not welcome as the point of the group is to obtain achievements in the intended way. We try to help each other towards this common goal.

Q: Is this group exclusively for CS:S?
A: Strictly speaking, the main purpose of the group is to help obtain CS:S achievements but this is also a community of extremely helpful people. We encourage true teamwork in any game and have hosted events to obtain achievements in other games as well. Contact any staff member if you are interested in the creation of achievement events or if you have a constructive idea.
