Nice job everyone. The group's member counts are growing quickly and we're on our way to making them understand that the PC community has needs that must be addressed!

We are close to an important milestone! It hasn't even been 1 month so far and we have almost 1000 members in this Steam group! Seriously great job everyone for not only being a part of this, but in bringing it to everyone's attention, getting friends and family involved, etc. We have a lot of work in front of us, but if we all continue on this path I believe we can create positive change.

Also, you'll notice that I have posted the petition here in this steam group and will consider everyone who is a member here to be in agreement and support of it. This will make things easier so that people simply have to become a member of this steam group.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who has joined this Steam group to support the idea that ‘TRUE’ dedicated servers are an essential part of the PC Community and that they would fix many of the issues the community is having with Black Ops 2.

In less than 3 weeks we have over 600 members in this group and it’s growing steadily! Awesome job!

Over the last 3 weeks I’ve been preparing and planning to make this petition successful. As we know, it won’t just take signatures and numbers to convince the people behind the Call of Duty franchise to change their ways.

I’ve had my posts removed from the CallofDuty.com forums where this petition was called my ‘personal endeavor’ suggesting it’s only about me. I advised Foxhound-Pro, the admin there, that removing my posts would confirm they didn’t want to hear us and he replied "I am also not worried if people consider it an attempt to suppress the "voice" of the PC community".

I’ve reached out to several site managers asking for support and permission to post information to their members. I’ve done research on how people are hacking Black Ops 2 to make the case that Treyarch’s management is in no way better than the community’s. I’ve read tons of posts about lag compensation ruining the game, the lack of Nuketown and the insanity that is plaguing the community’s ability to hold competitions. Last but not least I’ve spoken to many of you who have pledged your support to the cause, offered to help and provided me with useful information we can use.

I am committed to moving forward on it and it’s important that you are too. It’s also important that you realize change does not come overnight and if we are not able to get Treyarch to provide Dedicated Servers we may have to set our sights on November 2013 and the next Call of Duty.
