Work started on a british Railway Mark 1 Carriage.

I have so far started on the bogie for it. THe bogie is very large compared to the class 37's, and I think thats because the class 37's is too small.

It had realistic looking springs that were meshes, but those added 3k tri's to the models. I don't want to have something that will lag people on a server for something you cant see ten feet away.

Also This will have animations in it(I used to do scripted animations where i make the wheels spin scripted. This took a lot of math and it did so every frame which wasn't so good.

Since this is a railroad car, it will have to be very nice and run smoothly as well.

I will have pictures up of the completed bogies as well as when i start on the carriage. :steamhappy:

Yep! All I have to do it make sure the proportions are spot on. not sure if you've seen, but my locos generally aren't perfect with this. It's to do with the stupid hammer unit system, as well as the weird height of the player, width of the player and the typical rail width.
