I've returned from my long slumber to with some strange news.

I'm going to be open to requests for porting models but I'm looking for something specific. I'd love to port a model that has some sort of challenge attached -- something that can be ported to Source but requires experimenting and/or pushing engine limitations. If you aren't certain, that's okay, send me what you have anyway and I can take a look (though note that I can't port everything everybody sends). I'd love to port something new again, I just don't really want to port something generic. I was considering taking a crack at the Black Rock Shooter model again. Note that I'll probably port the model to GMod first for the ease of experimentation.

I'm also open to suggestions and criticism on my existing models. I always have been and always will be and I wish I heard more of it honestly. Any improvements that are possible are things I'd love to hear about.

I'm also open to suggestions for experiments to perform or things to screw with if there are answers you'd like. In the mean time, I'm also working on a couple more guides on QC creation / clean-up and a list of GMod's animation sets you can use in your model.

I also wouldn't mind considering porting some vtuber models to various source games. If you're a vtuber and already have your 3d model made you're welcome to send me a message! If you know a vtuber who's looking for a model to be ported you can direct them to me as well!

I resumed Trioxygen Luka. I've only put 2 days into it so far but progress is pretty decent so far.

Still needs a ton of work but at least it's not completely broken like it was way before when compilers were more restrictive. I guess now I can cheat the bone limit and vertex limit.

It seems one of the material parameters used on the robot models technically breaks the use of envmaps on them but I wasn't aware of this because it worked for several years until a recent update changed engine branches which resulted in the models no longer showing cubemaps properly.

The parameter has sinc been removed and materials have received some minor changes as well. If the model's materials looked flat to you previously, they should be reflective again. If for any reason they still aren't, try manually deleting the gma files and redownloading them again. If they have names for you then they should be easy to find. If they display only the IDs, look for "461111065" and "647839333" instead.

Today Tda Luka Append and Haku Append were both mistakenly marked and banned by Steam moderation. I've since been told that this has actually happened to several other GMod addons such as PAC3.

I'm not entirely sure what the issue was but it appears to have been an accident and the addons have since been restored. If you happened to be on today and experienced issues using either of these models they should be operating normally again now.

Addons by other authors who may have encountered the same issue should have them restored as well. If you're an author of an addon that was mistakenly removed today make sure you submit a request to Steam just in case and they should be able to get it fixed for you.
