Some ideas for flight ops.

Announcing your position for landing or taking off.

Here is a suggestion that could be easy for people to rememeber when flying in ops.

When approaching the airporst at certain designated "Air Markers" the pilot would announce:

Who = Pilots name or Squadron name
What = mission and aircraft they are flying
When = approx eta or distance to airport. (we would need to figure that out)
Where = call out the landmark or air marker they crossing
Why = What do they intend to do at the airport (pick up troops / rearm refuel etc.)
How = direction you are coming from.

An Inbound example would be...

Cas-2 / Blackfoot / inbound / 1k out passing Girna at 265 knots cruising at 100 feet for re-arm re-fuel on south approach.

Outbound example...

Cas-2 Blackfoot outbound via the old outpost (air marker name to identify flight path) to Kamino eta 3 minutes for Strike mission entering AO from south east.

The island runway runs heading 260 (runway 26) or runway 020 (runway 2). Planes and helicopters like to land into the wind as much as possible. The aircraft trafic pattern on the island should be either heading inbound heading 020 and outbound 260...or vice versa.

I am not a graphic deisgner but air traffic should mostly be one direction.

I have some ideas for the pattern but that will take a bit more time. We could make a map mission to train the pattern too. IT would be fun.
