Due to unforeseen circumstances last week, the LAST BLADE 2 tourney was cancelled, but with relative certainty, I can proclaim that we will be holding this competition tomorrow!

6pm EST, October 1st, LAST BLADE 2 is back on the schedule! Be there, or be not there. Iunno, it's up to you, I'm not your mom. In all seriousness, though, we try to get these competitions going on a weekly basis. Having more than 5 regulars would be nice for a change!

Play with your peers or on your own in preparation if you want! Just hop into STEAM GROUP CHAT if you want to grab some games, we're happy to help! (I gotta cook dinner first, though) If you want to practice on your own, however, there is a way you can do so without the cheating CPU getting in your way.

Just boot up "ggpofba.exe" from Fightcade's install directory, open Last Blade 2, and press F5 to set your controls, and the 2p controls.

From here, you can activate both players and get into a match with your dummy. Make a save state with F10, and load it whenever you want with F9.

Now you have your own impromptu training mode! Ain't that swell? (Just DON'T OVERWRITE the "lastbld2_ggpo.fs" file! Your save state will be saved as "lastbld2 slot 01.fs")

In closing! Participation is cool! This is for having fun, not being the best! Play, wont you?

Alex is going to be occupied for a bit longer than expected, so TOURNEY IS CANCELLED THIS WEEK!

HOWEVER! Don't take this as "we can't all get together and play some games," quite the contrary! Just shlep on down to Steam Group Chat and hang out! Everyone come loiter in the room!

Tonight can be a chill night to hang out. So no worries about competing. When Alex comes around, he can fill us in on the situation. Until then, chill out and have fun, gang!

Hey everyone, I want to inform everyone that the Weekly tournament will be postponed until TOMORROW, Friday, at 6PM EST.

Urgent business has arisen for Alex, and he may not be able to host a full tournament tonight! He has stated that he will try to play a little bit tonight to promote the game and tourney, but the event will be happening on Friday.

Rejoice because you have more time to be tardy to the event, but we still want to see as many folks as possible show up tomorrow!

As always, I'd like for as many group members to populate the steam group chat and try to talk a bit, play games together, do stuff, etc.! As for me, I will likely be afk for the next hour or two, so forgive me if I idle in chat.
