I started this group for selfish reasons - I wanted to create a pool of reasonable, enjoyable players with whom I could enjoy AOE2HD. So far that has been a complete success.

But I am not a dictator.

On July 1st I will run an election for group officers. For those unfamiliar with Steam Groups, these people will have admin powers similar to mine.

I'm announcing the election this far in advance for two reasons:

1) AOE2HD is not yet stable to play, so electing officers at this point in time seems a bit premature. Hopefully by July things will be patched to a much better state.

2) If you are interested in becoming an officer, you obviously should take an active role in our Group. By announcing it now, I'm giving you ~9 weeks to earn the trust and admiration of your peers, however that may occur.

This rerelease is pulling MANY people back into the game who haven't played in perhaps a decade or more - like me!

The quality of discussion on the internet during that time, unfortunately, has not improved. (ha)

In short, this is an "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-free" group. Rudeness will not be tolerated. That's why this group is private (you can't ban people from public groups).

Please invite anyone you think would fit. I look forward to getting to know you all in the future, and hopefully beating at least ONE of you in a match! :-D
