I set up this 24/7 server as a legacy to the renowned Wireplay company that went down and out, including all its hosted servers; in hopes that me and all the regulars could continue playing together and continue to have fun with players new and old.

The server is primarily a 100% Crits server, hosting a huge amount of plugins and custom content to add and improve the player's gaming experience.
The main feature of the server is the custom map (created by me) called Acids Playhouse.

We have a good player base which is growing fast, especially due to the fact that we're not just another server with absent admins.

I continue to work on the map regularly to add more and more features to the server. Heavily supported by my assistant Admins and Moderators! Thank you guys!

Me and my admins are always within reach, being present on the server nearly every day to moderate and protect people's fun as well as organising the events and generally providing a great play experience.

This group is to spread the word around and to host the updates and information members need to know concerning the server!

The Adventures Continue, in Minecraft FTB!

Hey all,

I thought this would be a good place to make this post, as I know there are lot of people that we all used to play together with on the server before we shut it down.

I would like to let you all know that we've been hosting big adventures on Minecraft the past few years on a regular basis, specifically on the modpack called Feed the Beast, as some of you may be familiar with.

Feed the Beast is basically a group of people who have been assembling enormous and elaborate mod packs from many different modders. It adds tons of new content to the game, like magic, machines, worlds, biomes, items, npcs ect... It's very popular and in my personal experience, very fun!

We've hosted this quite a few times in the past, usually doing the largest of the modpacks. People have made some really impressive and memorable creations, as well memorable adventures. Seeing as there are lots of people on here who will remember the fun we had on Acids Playhouse, I know there are a lot of good candidates for this server.

The servers are always private, you need to be whitelisted to enter. This keeps the trolls/rabble out and helps ensure everyone has fun. There's protected land claiming too, so nothing to worry about as long as you claim the land. There's no money involved on your end, it's all a completely free experience (Minus owning Minecraft of course) Me and a couple of mates literally just do it for fun out of our own pockets.

The mod packs are usually HUGE, with endless things to do. So you will need probably at least 6 gigs of RAM on your PC, ideally 8 gigs or more.

You will have to download the Curse client as well, (Frustrating I know, but it's easy.)

When we start the adventures, we will be posting all the relevant details in the new group below. The server will then be up 24/7, and you will be free to join when you please! I plan to go around taking screenshots of peoples creations, and posting them in the group so that we can look back on them.

Hey all,

I believe it's time to post an anouncement that quite a few of you were expecting sometime soon.

After having thrown everything we can at this server through the course of over a year, it's very apparent that it's just not going to stand up with out constant support. Constant support is something we simply can't provide, or afford, what with cost of living and day to day life.

I would like to thank everyone who has been a big part of the server at some point or another, there have been a lot of great memories from the moment it was created, even before when a few of us came from the old Wireplay server.

An huge amount of work was done on the server for months, trying to adjust it to be something new and exciting, but I think the type of server it was, was just too specific and didn't generate as much interest as it used to. There's probably a lot of reasons.

So here it is, we're laying to rest Acids Playhouse. Thanks all for your support for the server. This group will remain, as there may be new things ahead in the future for our collective of players here. When that happens we'll let you know.
