ALSO THE GPU'S R9 SERIES......
i dont have any issues playing BF3 and BF4....but i guess i can wait until the next upgrade.
I have a 7950ghz edition in my main computer, which is about exactly as fast as an HD7970.
The R9 280X is a relaunched and updated HD7970, its practically almost the same videochip in them.
The difference to a single HD6870 is immense, here examples from my experience:
Battlefield4 Beta 1920x1080 Max (Phenom X4 4ghz)
HD6870: 25fps
HD7950 Ghz: 50fps
We can assume that on the same system, the R9 280X would get a bit more like 55-60fps.
Since you apparently use two HD6870s, you might get 35-45fps there without overclocking. As long as your games support Crossfire therefore, I dont recommend you to buy this videocard. If you want to upgrade at all you should go at least for an R9 290 without X. You could eitherway just overclock your duo, i bet you can play all games well anyways.
due to the changes of the steam community and the new layout, the group management got very tedious. It's been a while and our profile has to be updated again soon. Feel free to check our articles and if you have any hardware/software related questions, just post a comment here.
