Steam Mobile hangs on loading

I have an IPhone 8 running IOS 12. The Steam Mobile app just hangs at the splash screen when it never did this before. Reinstalling the app doesn't seem to work & I can't really afford a new phone. I need the steam app to access 2FA. Is there a fix?

i'm having the same issue with my iphone. i do not know of a fix. i am in contact with steam support currently and will let them know.

i'm on IOS 17.5 and i'm still having issues. support says i'm ' running an old version of the app ' but there's no option to update for me after the last time i did. the only fix seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling again according to support. if you do this, expect a market and trading hold. i wish i had a better answer.

I am also having the same issue, When I try and open steam it hangs me up on the steam loading screen, I have an Iphone 6, I haven't used steam on my phone for 2 weeks and it just started happening. Sometimes it leaves me on a gray blank screen with nothing.
