Do people actually believe that the Democrats tried to kill Trump?

Surely people don't actually believe that, right? Let's go through the outcomes.

1. Assassin blunders and gets killed/arrested. Good press for Trump, more votes.

2. Assassin injures Trump, gets killed/arrested. Real good press for Trump, base ultra motivated. (Current.)

3. Assassin kills Trump, gets killed/arrested. Trump supporters and the Republican party are whipped into overdrive, leading to either major Republican gains in the polls/election or massive dissent across the country.

In all of these cases, it does NOT benefit the Democrats nor the electoral chances. It would also, you know, be extremely difficult to conceal the fact that a sitting President the fact that a sitting President ordered the killing of a political opponent. Like, practically impossible.

So why do people believe it? If Biden was assassinated would Trump's supporters also claim that it must have been a Republican?

The left are known to be mostly gun-haters and are probably incompetent at aiming.

Also they want to allow the murder of babies even after birth even if that means in the 255th trimester.

But thats just a theory...

Rest assured that light aplenty will be shone on this assassination attempt - and the motives behind it. I am eager to find out if the libs were indeed involved in some capacity, though their toxic rhetoric and aggressive use of their propaganda machine against Trump alone are enough to embolden a potential lunatic to go out and do this.

There is definitely benefit in trying to tie it to the Democrats. Makes your voter base more likely to vote from this incident. Even though there isn't really anything to back this. The Democrats would believe in civility politics all the way until they're stuck in the camps.

Na, whoever did it was someone radicalised to the extreme. Probably a leftist sure. Could also be a foreigner who was a nationalist, but seems less likely. Either way, Trump's chance of winning the election just went up 40% and he was already over 50% with Biden in the race.

The concerns of republicans are understandable, ♥♥♥♥ happens in this country on a regular basis.

Moreover, people have not recovered from the shock, so it is too early to draw any conclusions, people need to rest for days and see how the state structures will investigate. at the moment, people are talking only out of emotions

Who says that the democrats could have done it? People claim the left was it. There is no left party in the US of A.

And they even say it was the left wing, which means extremists, which would need to have some center-left thing going as well, as else You wouldn´t need to say it´s a wing if You don´t want to waste time with writing unnecessary words.

My new theory. Putin did it. It was done to boost Trump's chances. Many spy dramas have taught me that this is how it works. And Putin would do something like that in the real world.
