Peeps should've finished their job, smh.
Nice dodge, but you're avoiding the point. Things aren't worse when they happen to you than they are when they happen to anyone else. Everybody suffers trauma. Some choose to get over it, some don't.
if you can simply choose to get over it, then it ain't trauma

If you really believe that, then you're just weak. Some people get over anything. You're just not one of them.

no, trauma here quite literally refers to stuff you can't just one day decide "you know what, this won't affect me anymore"

it's literally what defines trauma in this context

I'm still trying to work mine out..

I was tied up by some people and shot in the head and thrown in a ditch, but then woke up in a doctor's house in some little desert town.
Apparently some robot found me and dug me out and delivered me to the doctor who then patched me up and asked me questions that determined what my skills would be.

Now I'm exploring the desert wasteland and will one day discover who actually shot me in the head and why.

Head north and/or east and you will be rewarded.

I think you've been believing in too many fairy tales about kings who could turn things into gold and prophets that could rise from the dead.

................are you prepared to think the unthinkable?

are you?

Are you?

my father, tho I surpass him in power level by so much right now that he wouldn't even be considered in the competition of people I'm scared of lol. I suppose if I could go back in time I would go back to my 8 year old self who was alone with that man, and bulldoze him.

The fact I have no reasons to live is already kinda traumatizing.

Like you said it requires a certain mindset to recover from things. I have it. You don't. That's not weakness on my part.
> Comes into a topic about trauma to say he's overcame things.
> Proceeds to call anyone who has been victimized in any way "weak".

Sure would suck to be weak like all the unhappy people in the world, some of which just couldn't get over being blindsided, overpowered, and victimized in some egregious way, all the while being completely powerless / helpless - I mean who knows, we certainly don't need to consider that any individual may be so unfortunate because they're just "weak", right?

What are you even doing in this topic if you don't believe in trauma or helpless situations?

:thepro:
honestly It seems more to me like, denying trauma and that way showing strenght may very well just be a coping mechanism for his own, just a theory tho.

I've had my fair share but I find it character building.
