I keep getting "Something went wrong while displaying this content" errors
It happens a lot on the store tab when looking at games, and any time I try to view the news feed, I just saw a notification on the news feed button but when I clicked it I got this error:

Something went wrong while displaying this content. Refresh

I'm not sure why this keeps happening

i have the same problem for the last 2 weeks with all the "News" tabs.. its getting annoying.

MY SOLUTION
  • Select the "steam" button at the top left of your screen
  • Select "log out"
  • Locate your steam icon on your desktop
  • Select "open as administrator" in the right mouse context menu
