You don't need to add the dashes or caps. Some people have mistaken the number 0 (zero) for the letter O. But, it's always a zero in the wallet cards.

it says the code is invalid

What SPECIFIC error are you seeing?

If you bought the card in another region, or were given the code from another region, you *cannot* use it. This thread is old enough that the rules about such things have changed between then and now.
