Maybe ask in the forum of the game specific to the saves. You'll at least need to know where to put them so cloud synchronization picks them up.

Try asking in the game-specific forum. This Help and Tips forum is for Steam in general, not for games.

I asked if you can upload saves to steam cloud which is me asking for general steam help. Last time I check steam cloud saves isn't specific for one game

You can let Steam synchronize the copied saves to the cloud if you put the saves in the location the game expects them to be in.

Where that is? That's different from game to game, obviously.

steam >> library >> right click game >> properties >> general >> cloud

I'm pretty sure every game has cloud saving on as standard but you can turn it off manually.
to add your local saves to cloud saves you could use the synchronize option. :)
