What would happen if ...
I've got a friend living in UK, and I was wondering if giving him a gc from EU region (25 euros) would be given as 25 pounds or the monetary system there.
All answers are welcomed and pleased, so please, leave me an exp.

You can send digital gift cards through Steam to someone on your friends list and it will automatically convert the money into the other regions currency at the current conversion rate.

Physical gift cards are currency locked and can only be redeemed on account with same currency as the gift card (EUR gift card can only be redeemed if account wallet is in EUR). As HikariLight above states, you can send a digital gift card which will convert to recipients currency.
