Best Scaling Type and Custom Scaling Mode for a 4k 144hz monitor?
A bit overwhelmed with all the options LS has. I usually play my games with borderless windowed.

Set your game to 1440p windowed and use "Auto" scaling mode and LS1/FSR scaling type. If you run game in borderless windowed mode then you need "Custom" scaling mode, 1.5 scale factor and "Resize before scaling" option.

Im confused I thought that this program had to be run in a window?, so why do we need to choose window mode, is there a detailed instruction manual that has what all the options do, there are many options that don't even have a hold over instruction...

Stick to exclusive fullscreen. If you're running your desktop in 144 Hz, you're burning through gfx card wattage for no good reason. If you're not running your desktop in 144 Hz (i.e. 60 Hz) then you're capping the game at a framerate far lower than your monitor is capable of.

Yeah, I run everything in 144 Hz. I actually notice a performance drop when using LS for some games. I really only got LS for Star Citizen which has terrible optimization. Hm..
