Hot take: adjusting thing for Picard
Not every one obviously likes "new trek", however I for one like that they are adjusting elements of the game to keep it in the prime timeline rather than having it be an alternate universe, since Star Trek has too many of those. Despite my main toon being a temporal agent (we both hate temporal mechanics) I like this part. Still not sure how the Enterprise F fits though, perhaps the Enterprise G was destroyed and 7 left Starfleet as a result? This could be explained that due to the Klingon war of 2409 stretching Starfleeta resources thin, they elected to reactivate and refit several mothballed starships. This would explain ehy the Galaxy and Miranda classes are still around, and the Enterprise F was reactivated since it had closest to the latest technology. It is widely known that Starfleet keeps older vessels in a mothballed state for quick reactivation (go watch Certifably Ingame's video on "what happens to old starship").

Not just Starfleet, this is a real world thing as well. The United States had dozens of warships in storage around Philadelphia and San Francisco during the Cold War period, and there still are some (though much less) now. They just recently have disposed of the last of the oil-fired fleet carriers, even though they were withdrawn from active service in like 2006.

If I remember correctly, the US also has some older aircraft stored away mothballed in a couple of desserts just in case as well.

unfortunately the game has bee kinda ruined story wise for keeping it in line with the tv show. for instance hue was previously the leader of the co operative but since he was killed off in picard he was retconned out of the game this kinda messed up the delta rising arc, also seven of nine has been changed and the ingame version has not been updated to reflect this. their are some other changes that i dont like but these changes where not made to fit the tv show but rather to fill other agendas.
It's unfortunate

What I see now this year does not match Trek as I knew it decades ago. Its going somewhere that I would call either Woke or DEI indirectly. Or far to the left.

Its not trying to continue to write the story in a logical manner anymore. There are new agendas that are not part of Canon now.

If they look at my game play in the server they will find that I am very cautious what activities I do participate in. Just because something is new or has been ground a thousand times doesnt mean I will run out the door to play it right away.
This probably shouldn't be devolving into a political discussion, but I do agree with you on this. However Star Trek has always been progressive wether we like it or not, since it included Uhura as a bridge officer and recurring character, women wete equal with men and working aboard a Starship. However some of the progressives Star Trek pushes today is too much, such as the genetic flaw that incorrect and does not benefit society in anyway. Too bad Star Trek is against genetic engineering to correct this and set humanity back on course :steamsad:.

Haven't seen Picard...does anything there conflict directly with STO?
Enterprise F gets retired at the end of season 3, 7 of 9 becomes captain of Enterprise G. Picard and Crushed have a son together. Gordi has a higher rank than in STO. I haven't even seen Picard lol

it contradicts the romulan republic into not existing , in picard there exist a dozen romulan factions and their ships look like anything but romulan
