Pollen Arrows are useless?
What is the point of these? By the time you can fire again the flyer is, once more, flying. The stun duration is horribly brief and it doesn't force the flying enemies to stay on the ground for the duration of the debuff it puts on them making them pretty much useless in my experience. They're bad on bow and worse on xbow due to reload speed.

May be useful in a co-op game.

Even in Co-op when hunting bees together the stun is stupidly short feeling, like, inflicting bow stun effect lasts longer than pollen arrow stun does
Yes, they are completely useless. I tried them when Wasp Drones were introduced since they were basically unkillable at release and found out they don't do anything meaningful.

Ok reporting back after testing pollen arrows. Absolutely worthless. The knockdown doesn't last long enough from them to accomplish anything.

yep don´t bother they are useless
I read up on those arrows on the wiki and all they seem to do is add 50 stun to the attack, no other effects are listed. Seems like all that means is that they are guaranteed to knock some flying critters out of the sky with one hit.

Right and that works. Problem is they get up and fly again before you can do anything.

Exactly this. Thus, why I said they were pointless. It might be better with the antlion set due to the reload speed boost, but the stun from pollen arrow wears off before you can even finish reloading, and the 'pollen puff' effect from the bee armor honestly does it just as good, if not better
The only use they have is knocking bees and wasps out of the air over water.

I read that you can't even re-use them as pollen arrows once fired because they return to being a normal arrow. More resources to make, single use, and an effect that really doesn't make much of a difference except in very specific circumstances such as this:

No wonder people are complaining.

Edit: The in game tooltip for those arrows says something about a slow effect as well, but it sounds like it's not even strong enough that people are noticing that effect when they use those arrows.

That's actually really clever. Problem is I've never been fighting wasps over water where that would help me.
good for certain raids if you're built up the sky

Unless you’re on multiplayer with some good coordination or maybe on a low difficulty usually a flying raid equals base destruction. I got to the point I designed a decoy base to reload and run to before a flying raid triggers
