Mouse control SUCKS!!
CIA boot camp: Only minute deviations from direction of mouse movement lead to failure. Not predictable. Really sucks the fun out of playing!

Old post, but I am having the same issue. This is really frustrating. There is a weird time lag and honestly rotation is not intuitave at all.

I've been having this issues when ever the mouse movement was needed. I can't believe they did not have this working even before it was ported to pc, it's unusable if you are trying to do anything that need persecution.

+1 its really bad and uncontrollable. Solution is to lower windows mouse 1/3 or more for less sensativity and place the mouse sensativity on 50 ingame controls. Use the numbers 1234 not the numlock. Use Left shft for action to write etc

Thanks for the 1234 tip, I was using QEF and Shift which could be confusing at times

this game was quite easy to control, just watch what direction your character moves and do the same mouse movement, I don't understand what people keep complaining about, I finished the whole game with the keyboard and mouse without any problems

Can you please tell us what your system set up is? I feel like there must be some connection as some people have no issues and other cant do it at all.
It's not even a case of people not being experienced gamers.

Uhmm watch this vid:

So like the movement where she's blocking the punch at 15 seconds-- she moves her hand next to your ear. Do you move right / back to dodge/ absorb the incoming attack (the natural way you might move in a fight--like a boxer trying to dodge a punch by leaning or stepping back)? Up to move her hand up to her ear? It doesn't help that the camera is also moving and it makes it appear she's moving a bit to the left as well. And then at 20 seconds when she kicks the inside of his knee: she's moving her foot forward, up, and to the left. So yeah.... Which way do you move your mouse? Up and to the left? Diagonally upward to the right to represent the forward movement of her foot from her body? This is not intuitive at all. And then at 31 sec when she's parrying the punch, her body is moving to the left, her hands are moving upward and to the right.. So which way do I move? Left, upward, and right? And then 35 seconds when she blocks the right and pushes his hand down it's several motions, up and foward and down and then an attack where she's back fisting the guy which is a movement that's to the left and then to the right. Get what I'm saying? I think it's very hard to interpret where you're supposed to move your mouse--it's never explained very well.

I'm running a Logitech G502 SE Hero and I can't get anywhere with it.
I have just upgraded my systems hardware so I might see if that has made any improvement

Was considering buying this game after enjoying Detroit. Tried the demo and the controls are awful with the mouse. It's hard to gauge what direction they want me to move especially when the camera keeps flipping its direction.

Anyone who plays games like this with a keyboard and mouse are just psychopaths. USE. A. CONTROLLER.

I agree. Detroit Become Human's controls are really well made. I nearly never missed a single QTE in combat. In Beyond Two Souls I miss really often in combat and I keep getting hit due to "wrong movement". But I don't understand. My character attacks left or right and I do the exact same thing with my mouse but I fail every time. The controls are so clunky compared to DBH. And it is true that it is hard to guess in what direction she gets attacked by the enemies to avoid getting hit.
