I'm interested in the game, but to buy it, for me it needs VR (basic) support.
If it doesn't you can try geo3d which renders to a virtual monitor then each eye gets a stereo image. I used it in Spiderman.
There's also super depth 3d which works in just about anything, even game pass and uwp games which is nice. I've found s3d to be the best generic reshade based mod, then geo3d or vorpx. You wouldn't get VR controls but it would at least be 3d.
I think the mothervr mod uses VR controls but it's been a while. I do know using that along with an alien isolation taa injection mod makes the game look amazingly clean. I tried super sampling the shimmer away but because it's happening due to alpha effects the only way is taa but for some unknown reason the injection mod can cause random crashes but it only happened to me once and if it does happen then trying a different version can help
