my goodness, never seen that one before. try playing the game in windowed mode if you can otherwise i got no clue on how to fix that sorry :(

try verifying game files.

I don't think a 9800GT still has updates, and I don't know how to see if it's corrupted or not

It is most likely a shaders issue. Did this start recently or has it been like this? I would look into getting a used graphics card off of ebay, something like a GTX1050 or even a 1030GT

this happened right after i updated my game to the new version 45.0, and it didn't go back to normal
