They have to be deployed to be captured on camera... so you can not take a photo of them in their mine shell... so be quick lol
after they deployed, it does not work for me, i have try it out before. But thank you :)

Must be no fence in the way, have the advanced goggles and you must be close. I managed one when standing on a car.

May I kindly ask in which point you are required to capture a photo of a Silverfish?
Mockhio 4 Jan, 2020 @ 2:30pm
Only why you can get XP if you take a Photo. I thougt it's better to capture all Creatures with perfect Photos :) meantime i focused on the story only.

Makes sense, never noticed that one can gain XP points by capturing pictures. Thanks for the info :)

Yup, perfect and good photos give you a nice little xp reward once you leave camera mode... good for early stages.

after much frustration, trial, and error. I found I was managing to get perfect pictures, which would show as perfect ONLY when they come out of their burrows or whatever. But when they are in their stations it will continue to say no photo. As far as I tried, does not acknowledge them as a photograph subject until they come out and get all explody in your face.

You're doing it wrong...

If they are exploding in yor face you are either on the ground or are not pulling out a weapon before they get explody... i mean... you have a whole 3 seconds before you are dead... :coolendo:
Yeah it's nearly impossible to get a perfect photo of them. You have to get them to come at you, then zoom out as they get closer to keep them in frame while also moving back.... there must be a split second window to get a perfect shot. I think I've seen the word "Perfect" show up only once in my 78 attempts and of course missed it.
For anyone still having trouble with this, it helps to use the slo-mo stimulant after you aggro them while standing on a tall bit of rubble so they may spin a bit longer before exploding. I was able to duplicate successful attempts this way.
