Hooray! A new Army of Tentacles is out! This one has no subtitle! Well, it does, it's just not.... yeah, it's different. As stated before, the VO will come later in either a free DLC or a patch. We might go with a free DLC just to have data on player retention.

Given the current political climate, probably could have gone with a title change.

We've wanted to do a Trojan War play ever since the first Sexy Centaurs, but always got sidetracked. Now, we present to you..... the Greeks versus the Rainbow Unicorns! Who will become Troy's ruler? Anyone able to run this on Linux?

While I realize this game is not listed as working on Linux, I am actually trying to run it on my Ubuntu install anyway - I stream from Linux and want to offer the option of me streaming this if my upcoming charity stream brings in a certain amount. While the game starts and seems to run okay, I do get an error when trying to go to the settings (see below). I wonder if this is a known issue and if this only happens with the settings. So. Time to talk turkey.

Army of Tentacles: Assault on Rainbow Unicorn Island is going to come out next Tuesday.

This game in no way should have taken as long as it did to come out. But that's the life of an indie dev company, especially if you want full VO in your game.

The game's VO will be patched in at a later date. We already lost one backup of the VO files, and now the secondary may very well perish in the San Diego fires.

I'd rather not worry about video game bullshit right now. I'd rather focus on making sure my team is safe and not burning to cinders, or wondering where they are going to live in a few days. I'd rather they focus on that. Hell, they would rather they focus on that.

So, VO will be patched in at a later date.

Can't start the game

So, I'm having some issues where for some reason I just can't start the game at all. When I try, it gives me an error that it can't download/update something and then tries to update, where the whole thing repeats when I try playing it again. Anyone able to help with this? Also yes I am on a Mac and while it says it can't run for Mac, the other game version of this, Dinos and such (can't remember the full name) says the same thing about not playing on a mac yet somehow does play on mac. Help?...
