First dungeon length
I just got wrecked on floor 27 - how long is this dungeon? Bought the game on a whim since I love mystery dungeon titles, and this is a lot more old school than I expected. What a lovely surprise!

I'd say if you stick around long term, you'll be surprised by how long the dungeons are in the long run, especially for the end game.
The main story acts are around 40 floors, but a single dungeon finishes that arc.

But the real standout you notice later on is just how many 99 floor dungeons are out there and how long it takes to clear them.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games had like 2-6 of them(sometimes having the no items rule, sometimes not) and that was like your true end game to cap it off.
But Genso Wanderer Reloaded has close to 25 of them if not more, and it just so casually expects you to just do a bunch of them without even registering it as a monumental occasion.
That's not to mention that a few of them are 150 floors and beyond.

Yeah this definitely feels like a game that wants you to learn it. Am just trying to survive the dungeon and learn what's important/what isn't.

Your weirdest discovery early on would be the fact that it uses the JRPG party system where it is an unconditional game over if the main character goes down. And the fact that your partner has a higher natural HP growth in many of the story combos, in spite of the game allowing them to be more disposable.

That's the biggest take away, particularly for bosses.
