Thank you OP, I will check it out. Actually the height sometimes doesn't bother me so much. It makes feel like 7 feet tall towering the NPCs. When I am getting too tired playing while standing, I simply sit down and when I started the next day it would be my normal height in the game. Unless when I stand up, I would be very tall. Another thing I tried was when I started the game by kneeling down but when I stood up, my height seemed to correct itself. Not sure if I imagined this since it was late at night and I didn't play that long. By the way this game is so addictive and good jobs!!!!

Another thing,
- Zombies are frozen when both arms/hands are chopped off but they are still growling and still undead.
- I couldn't chop off their legs and they are simply being pushed away.

The quest book says spend time until light apears, but no light comes!

I still have issues where HMD Reset in the game doesnt change my height. What can I do ? My height in the game is very tall and im too big for the game if that makes any sense.

remove vr headset then put on again. this will reset height. undo box for height. try it takes a little bit time. you can be tall short or any height once you get hang of it.

Since I did Hotfix 4 and starting a new game, it now works fine. I can play the story without get stuck.
I´m not sure, but it an also be that the problem was solved by only loading last save game, insted of continuing after deat.
Now I´m not using any other options after dead and it works.

Absolutely nothing I do is fixing this problem. I can barely play through the opening because i practically have to crouch to hit the top of zombies heads, and am nearly laying down to be able to vault over the wall. If i set my guardian to always show the floor space, it's a good 4 feet from the floor in the game. I feel like a goliath and nothing I do seems to fix that.

For me opening the journal then droping it (so it goes back to my chest by itself) resets my height. It's just a bit annoying having to do this every 2 minutes as I will gradualy grow. Putting it back to my chest seems to be a different thing, that does not reset it. :)

im still having to reset my hight after almost every sceen and sometimes it does not do it correctly for me the problem was i was always short like my legs where in the ground and i also could not run in the game , i know its double tap on the touch pad ( vive) just like pavlov ??? i had to refunded the game becuz of this but really wish i didnt have to it looks like a great game

I'm having quite a lot of height/crouching issues.
-The game seems to randomly decide I'm crouching even when I'm standing up.
- The game can think I'm crouched when my POV is still at a normal standing height, so I onlt have an icon I didn't initially know about to clue me in to the fact that the game was wrong about it.
- If it thinks I'm crouching when I'm not, I have to jump to get it to uncrouch because I'm not as tall as it seems to think I have to be to stand back up

Physical crouch would be nice if it would only turn on if I was, say, two thirds my normal height, and turn off as soon as I was taller than that. AND if I could turn off manual crouch so I don't accidentally hit the up direction on the controller while trying to do other things.

I ended up playing almost the entire first week of the game crouched an not knowing it. I couldn't figure out why the walking speed was so slow because while I was standing at normal height ingame, it thought I was crouched and yet I was at standing height ingame

The hmd reset button doesnt correctly adjust the height for me. Its really annoying, i hope it gets fixed.

It has broken the game for me. Revert the hotfix. I am 10' tall and when I pause I am in the clouds. Nothing fixes it!

I have streamed the game the last 2 weeks and have had issue with the height not being correct and not being able to correct it easily as suggested above. This is after the last update that was 408mb. I believe it was released on the 9th or 10th of February. FYI crouching physically and with the wand button works great now, thank you. Headset HTC Vive v1.

Yes. This is still an issue. It still comes back every now and then even after resetting the HMD. It most often happens while physically crouching. I often end up about 4 feet high in proportion! It is not fixed. Needs further work.

I'm having the same exact problem. Whenever I get into the pause menu, I have to get on the ground because I'm so high above the menu.
