Anyone remember Heretic II ?
Because I sure as hell do.

It was interesting because it was 3rd person and went into an entirely different direction then Hexen II Which kept it's more RPG and puzzle elements whereas Heretic II was more action based like it's original.

Would love to see it released on Steam. Dunno why it isn't.. Anyone have reasons why?

Licensing issues, Heretic 2 and the Hexen 2 expansion pack are both owned by a different company that is not willing to share 'em.
Still have the box here, but installation is not working under win10(or 11)

Sure do - the magic in this game is amazing and some old spells works even better.
Sadly it's another case of "best game in the series that ironically not available" like AvP2 and Prey...
It wasn't too maze-filled like previous games, yet not linear like Portal to Praevous.

I find it funny that I played Heretic 2, Hexen 2 and Quake 2 at the same time in the 90s.

So my introduction to all three IP's was from sequels, and I loved them.
