Is there anyway to skip the Sherry section ?
Like a mod or something. I played this game alot and Sherrys section is always such a drag. I know alot of people don't like Ada's too but I don't mind that.

It takes like 5min to do, just suck it up and do it.

There is no mod to skip sections of the game.

Yeah, the Sherry part I have only done the once, now i have done it once I will do it again a lot quicker.

That first time was just a bit of annoying trial and error, I failed 3 times due to not knowing the path he would take, then once I did it was easy.

I understand what they wanted to do with it, show how a man like Irons can be just as terrifying as a tyrant for a little girl, but given the context of the whole game and the player themselves recently running from Mr X and gunning down actual zombies that keep getting up, I just found the Irons part tedious.

I got lucky and had a successful run on my very first try and I have basically redone that every time. I've actually never seen what it looks like when you fail. Once you get it down it's a piece of cake.

You can go offline on Steam and try to find a downpatcher to v1.00 or v1.01, then use the library staircase glitch to get out of bounds and go straight to the orphanage. That skips you ahead to the sewers section.
Otherwise, no.

I can do it easily, goodness knows I have so many times already and it wears quickly. I just find it a tedious part of an otherwise great game. As for what they were trying, To me it seems like they were repeating a smaller part of those early areas of Resident Evil 7 when you play as the female Mia ? when you have to sneak and hide.

Or they were remaking the segment where you play as her in the original RE2 however since media is anal about children being harmed in any sort of way they made the segment not have zombies but instead have Irons as the threat!

It's kinda worse with Irons though knowing his r-pist past but of course that's not brought up in the Remake
In the original you just ran in a straight line and zombies just puked on you 3 seconds after. The bad thing was in the B scenario where you would dodge dogs when Sherry runs like a snail, funny enough you would get hit like 8 times and she still would be with fine health

Maybe so but that's still visualized of a child being harmed something the media don't ever like one bit. Just to give an example before Valve officially launched L4D1 the bus that would be seen in Death Toll was originally a school bus but of course since the media is anal about the visualization of children being harmed in any way they ♥♥♥♥ on them until they changed the bus from a school bus to a church bus... even though logically children can also be on church buses but does the media care about that much nope as long as it wasn't a school bus no children were ever harmed.

I wouldn't say never, No More Room in Hell has zombie children because they wanted to have a more realistic visualization of a zombie outbreak so they weren't gonna be catering to the demands of media, Dying Light did have zombie babies but you never really shot at them only craddled them to death for lack of a better word.

cant say for no more room in hell
but for dying light...
they were pretty much sitting targets a screamers from what I remember not your regular oh no its going to bite me me. If you didnt remind of it I wouldnt have even think about them.
Mainly becose they werent in the main rng generated zombie crowd. I think Ive seen it like what 4 times in a playthru?
In general they try to make you feel very bad for killing a kid zombie anywhere whith a cudle snap.
Actually dead space 2 had baby mutants I think..
Still it would be nice if they did put in zombie of all ages in the crowd its 18+ game for crying out loud

I've played NMRIH there's two children one for each gender and they are considered as runners as they can quickly make their way over to you unnoticed if you're not looking for them.
https://gtm.you1.cn/storesteam/app/224260/No_More_Room_in_Hell/
One of the screenshots shows one of the zombie kids behind a grappled survivor, yeah you can also be infected in that game and unlike Dying Light where the infection is only for story purposes the moment you get infected in NMRIH you can either suppress it by taking pills or curing it with a syringe... don't count on finding the cure more than the pills though.

I dont care if this is a 4 years old topic I am still going to tell you a couple of truths for being like that

1. YOU suck it up, because there is a mod that does what the topic creator asked.
2. If you have nothing useful to post or simply have issues then talk to a mirror, nobody needs useless, time wasting replies like yours.
3. Since I have no interest on reading you certain usless reply I am simply disabling the notifications, so have fun typing a reply I will never read and start talking to a mirror before making people waste their time.
