Notes
Did (or will) the notes feature from the sequel get added back into this version? Or will it stay with just the sequel?

I tried to import it from LoA 2 but it proven challenging and treacherous (the UI of LoA has various small quirks which makes it very messy and incompatible). Therefore (at least for now, maybe in future I would go back to it) I'm not importing this feature to first LoA :(.

No map notes in v1.29.

But, it's quite likely it will be included in v1.30 (not guaranteed but very likely).
