New theory for Little nightmares 2
I have a theory about the thin man and mono. We know that Thin man is an older version of mono. At least, that's what the game has us to believe. So everytime Six betrays mono, he turns into the thin man and the cycle loops over and over. But the way I see it, There has to be some point of origin. And I think i've figured it out using the idea that children's minds are very impressionable.

So we all know the story: Blah blah blah, Thin man captures six, blah blah blah, mono saves six, blah blah blah, Six catches mono and then drops him and he becomes the thin man. You know, that whole ordeal. But There had to have been an original event that created the first thin man, which means we're focusing on the original mono and six.

What if, in the original timeline, they went to shut down the transmission but things got out of hand and that meat blob thing started chasing them. So they ran down the same path as the one from our playthrough, and six managed to make the jump and it was time for mono to jump. Six tried to catch him but he was just short the jump and six couldn't catch him. So he fell. But he blamed six the whole time because, to him, she could've easily caught him. So when he turned into the thin man, he kidnapped six to keep young mono safe. However, unintentionally ripping her soul out in the process, making her less forgiving and less sympathetic. So when mono went to save six, she just ended up dropping him cuz she no longer cared for helping him, only wanting to save herself. Which would now start the loop.

It seems interesting and likely. But i don't know. What do you think?
