Game Crash after one Race

after starting over and over the game it keps crashing after one race, i have no clue what it could be, i some can help me i would be really Gladfull.

Steam version doesn't have the 1.04a patch applied

So my friend, RetroRacer19, discovered that this Steam version doesn't have the latest patch. Patch 1.04a for N.I.C.E. 2 Breakneck (https://www.patches-scrolls.de/patch/664/7/39294/download) fixed his issues with the game, meaning this patch wasn't applied to this Steam release. Not sure why this was overlooked in the first place, but we are letting you know now so this can be fixed!...
