Week 2 of the Howloween event is here, and the treats keep rolling, including the colorful new Super Painted Bat!

A new horde of challenges have shambled this way as well, so it’s time to get out there and put them to rest by earning this week’s rewards:

In case you missed it, both of the Zombie Joe Plushies from Makeship are fully funded and available to order until Thursday, October 31st! That means the window to place your order is closing soon, so if you’re interested, be sure to get your order in before it’s too late.

All orders include a tie-on set of bat wings as part of Makeship’s Menace event, as well as codes you can redeem in-game for a plush emote and a set of Menace Bat Wings for your Super Animal to wear! In-game codes will be delivered when the plushies ship.

With autumn now in full swing, the island is ready to delve once more into the dark and frightening: Howloween has risen again! We have three weeks of scary-good challenges, rewards, and monstrous Super Animals to reveal, so let’s go bravely into the darkness and see what lurks in the shadows of the event’s first week.

The Super Cthulhu Octopus has emerged from the deepest corners of the Research Lab: a nightmare made real! Smash Jack-o-Lanterns and collect Candy Corn (also earned at the end of each match) to get a small heal and progress some of your weekly event challenges as you stalk your prey around the island.

As always, new breeds introduced during events are permanent additions to the Lab, and event challenges can be beaten at any time during the event’s run (not just during the week that they unlock). Just like having a bucket full of candy to eat, it’s best to pace yourself.


Til’ wabada do us part… the Ghost Bride Bundle is now in the SAW Shop! This beautifully macabre set will be available as one of the week’s Featured items alongside the new Howl emote, so if you like it you should put a ring on it before it goes into rotation.

Returning from previous Howloween events, from now until November 8th, you can enter the coupon code HOWLOWEEN in the main menu to get the Howl Mask cosmetic. Take your Howl Michaels cosplay to a whole new level (of uncanniness)!


We’ve implemented some changes for S.A.W. vs. Rebellion classes around their armor, to help balance them out and highlight their individual play styles.

• Heavy I now has tier 2 armor (up from tier 1)
  
• Scout II now has tier 2 armor (down from tier 3)
  
• Sniper II now comes equipped with the Bandolier powerup, and has tier 2 armor (down from tier 3)

Thanks to all of your support, both of the Zombie Joe Plushies we recently unveiled with Makeship have been successfully funded! We’re thrilled to see the excitement for this plushie campaign, and can’t wait for these little bundles of undead joy to make their way to homes across the world when they ship next year.
