I'm sorry to say that the answer to that is almost certainly no. Everyone's really abandoned the game and left it in a sorry state. Which I and so many other fans find so disappointing for all the potential the game holds. Best to look for something else.

i hope some body takes up intest in the game , it has potental . upgrades for ships and upgrade maps and better islands . the game is worth the work .
there is a way to add on to the game so during game play you could purchase other items for use during game play . rare upgrades could be found in the water as you fish the message in a bottle should have a reward , bonus fish or spare net fix well you get the idea . for ships the buy menu would be a part of the in game play as a multi player game online .. the idea is limitless ..
