Used to bash this game till I got into Tekken 8 which was my first "3D" fighting game(I mainly ONLY played 2D fighting games such ass Street Fighter/Marvel Vs Capcom), after getting into Tekken for a bit my friend she told me to check out dead or alive. (Yes a girl gamer told me to check out Dead or Alive) So I was curious about it and after purchasing I feel in love with the mechanics of the game. After realizing "oh this is a good game" I wanted to understand the lore so...I watched a 2 hour lore video on the entire series and realized wow this game actually kicks ass! The characters and the lore are great and obviously the sexy bad ass art direction in the game. I hope you people can read this review and enjoy this game(I got it on sale). I got my friend the game for Christmas 2024 and now we have been playing and it's fun because you can unlocked 1-2 outfits per character just playing against your friends or you can do the arcade mode. I would def support a new game if they come out but I hope they take a less micro transactional approach to the game if they return to the series. I was a little annoyed with having to look as the dlc list of just cosmetics. My final thoughts for you if you are still reading this is if you want a 3D fighter with good mechanics, bad ass mommys and bad ass dudes and don't take things too serious this is a game to be enjoyed by yourself or with friends. I still enjoy Tekken as my main game but DOA is just hands down good fun. It's easy to play but hard to master.
