Does the Soundtrack-DLC contain Losless-Audio?
I hope so, otherwise it's a NoBuy!
Losless, and without overdone dynamic compression. I hate it when signal hits 0dB even in parts with medium loudness.

Any soundtrack should be FLAC or WAV

The original soundtrack was FLAC as an option, so I'd hope that gets added at some point.

(i've picked it up as is for now as it's still useful to have a pretty high quality (320MP3) on local storage)

OK, so it seems at the moment there are only MP3-Files available; the download size of 350MB corroborates that, because even using FLAC (instead of WAV) the size should be bigger.

I'm considering getting the track as well, I'll pass for now if it does not include lossless audio. I wish it was mandatory to add soundtrack file formats on the store page so its easy to see. Perhaps one day it'll be a steam feature.

I just bought this with the Deluxe edition and was upset it was only MP3s. If you have higher quality files available, and I paid for the soundtrack, give me those higher quality files. Now I have to see if I can refund this so I can buy it on Bandcamp.

WARNING - This thread is STILL RELEVANT as of late 2024.
There are still no lossless, let alone high quality tracks included, only mp3.
I do recommend the the OST to the first Talos Principle though, since 24-bit lossless flac files are included. Why this sequel's OST's audio is mp3 in this day in age makes zero since, especially since the prequel is like 10 years old and it's OST does have lossless included

Another disappointed consumer here. REFUNDED
