Of the last 10 releases from Croteam, only two have been on Mac and two on Linux (not all the same, interestingly). I don't have high hopes.

Yeah well, we all hope that Croteam finds back to old strength with Talos 2 anyway, so might as well hope they also do their choice of plattforms properly again ;)

Single player game with no need for multiplayer anti-cheat, my guess is they'll aim for Wine/Proton support.

it's not like anticheat matters for the decicion for native vs proton ;)

But tbh - as long as it is official proton support, i'm fine with it. Even if it would be a big step back compared to croteams past...

I'm also very much hoping for a Mac version. I loved the original, which I played extensively, and it would be great to be able to play the sequel.

+1 for a MacOS version. Looks unlikely at this point though.
