I noticed a gun from Contra Hard Corps, soldier and terminal sprites from Ninja Warriors Again and many other assets that look extremely familiar. What did i expected though

So anyone here know what changed or possibly got removed?

Gameplay is a 10/10 just wish there was a checkpoint for each mission, annoying to do the whole mission over again

None of the controls work as a republican, can't shoot as a democrat

I updated the game on August 14th and it ceased to work. I tried verifying the game files. Everything checked out, but the game still wouldn't launch. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but that didn't work either. I tried opening the game directory and running the executable directly, but all that did was open five instances of the executable in the task manager without starting the game. Is there anything else I can try to get the game to launch, or is this on the developer to fix?...
