Whenever i reach a certain frame/dialogue while i'm playing through the game, the game crashes and closes automatically.

And after restarting the game, it ejects me back to a chapter far from the point i'm currently reading through - specifically: where Emily just recently gained her scuba license and is about to head out with Chisa and the MC. I click into the next frame where it closes up on Emily's scuba suit and it freezes - and then crashes.

Then it leaves me to load up a save file i thankfully made beforehand because it happend before.

I try to go back to that point, but the game prevents me from passing it.

Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a fix?
